Im sure people get thicker by the day lol
Basically i had my saxo for sale at the beginning of december and a lad from glasgow was really interested. Kept on texting me everyday asking if it had been sold or not and could tell that he really wanted it. He said that he wont have enough money until the 28th of december so i said that a deposit will hold the car. He agreed and then a few days later he said that it wont be up until the 21st of january until he can pay for it. I said that was fine as i wasnt in a rush for the money. He asked a few stupid questions like would there be any way he could have the car before he pays lol but he soon understood.
He agreed to give me £200 deposit (i wanted that much as i was holding it for 6-7weeks for him but he was the one who mentioned that price) and i also knocked him off £200 off the askign price which i thought was very kind as again, i was holding it for him.
Anyway he paid the deposit and every few days texts me asking how the car is etc and seems a genuine lad who is excited about buying the car. However, this morning i randomly got a text off him saying that he is sorry but would like his deposit back as he has seen the same car but cheaper  i obviously told him no and that the idea of a deposit is so people dont do that Lol. A few more texts later he asks if i could send him just half the deposit back to him, i told him no because its non-refundable. He then had the cheek to tell me that seen as he paid me through paypal he can win it back and said that a £200 deposit to hold a car for 2 weeks is **** :wtf: although i was pretty pee'd off at this moment i explained nicely that i am actually holding it for him for 6 weeks and i was very kind to do this and that i shouldnt suffer because he has simply changed his mind about the car.
Is it just me who thinks that i have done absolutly nothing wrong here or is his way of thinking actually what people act like and think is right? After this he said that he still wants the car but im not expecting him to tbh but told him i will ring him on the 21st to see if he has the money (also in the conversations earlier he said he wont have the money until feb now but funnily enough is interested in another car lol).
:wtf:
