hey,

right as you can see from the above picture there is quite a gap between the bumper and the grill,(gap is bigger than you may think)

reason for this is because the wide arch kit is for a mk1,and mrk1's have bigger headlights and indicators and grill,

the previous owner has cut a bit off a mark2 wing and badly bonded it onto the arch(the bit that curves around below the indicator and meets the bottom of the mk2 grill)

wel i want to cut this piece back off fit the deeper mark1 lights and grill, so this will fill the silly looking gap, and because i have taken a fancy for a mark1 look :d

will the lights fit or will i have to fit a mark1 front panel??

The lights will fit fine, but you'll need the different clips to sit on the inner wing.

Are you keeping the Mk2 indicators?

?? lights, indicators and grill from mk1 will fit onto mk2 front panel as they are both same but you cant just change these items without changing your wings to mk1 (wrong shape etc around indicators etc etc ) me thinks you need to rip the bumper off and spend some time playing around with it , aftermarket bumpers can take around 50 + man hours to get right if ever, maybe try amending/playing around with a gsi front bumper will look better and have a much better chance of it fitting something like ,,,,tony

The problem will be that the mk1 indicators don't wrap around the wing as much as mk2 so you'll have to fill and paint the wing
