f13 final drive id

I've got my f13 box in bits and believe it to have a different final drive in it. there is no id on it, how do i know which one it is? please help!

well, if there is no stamped number on the housing. simply count the number of teeth on the big diff gear & divide it by the number of teeth on the little gear on the end of the output shaft that meshes with the diff gear.

it is the only way of finding out what you have.

take the diff cover off and check the number of notches accross the teeth. a 4.18 doesnt have and a 3.7 has 7 iir and a 3.9 has 3.

I believe so, well one of anyway...it is the standard final drive in some F10 boxes
