View Full Version : Nova front MK2 fog lamps

Hi

I was wondering if some one here has got the original MK2 front fog lamps on his Nova... I've found great Nova SBD 16v whit front fogs... I wrote a massage to novacabrio but he told me their are not Nova items...

If some one has front fogs, or maybe knows which car are this from, I'll be thankful...

Only the early bumpers had markings and switch's fir fog light on the front, on very early models they went on the snowplough spoiler like bretski has on his White corsa gt, the GTE and similar front bumpers had the markings for cut outs on the inside of the bumper too but I've never seen any fitted.

Novacabrio's look similar to vectra A 2000 ( cavilier gsi2000 ) or vectra A turbo front fogs.

I think they look like astra mk3 Gsi fogs on it.... Although these look similar to cavalier ones so may be these.

The EPC shows the front fog lamps for Nova MK2 to fit in bumper, that's why I asked...

Maybe they were an optional extra in another country, like heated seats and opening rear windows.

this is why i like the patrol

4x 150watt
4x 200watt
then the normal 60watt full beam

that got them turning there fogs off lol

it would melt there bumper, but they turned them off :)

Was just about to say the same Jack - IIRC thats what Nick Caro told me all those years ago when he had them fitted

And now I'm thinking, that they are from Omega A 3000 or a Vauxhall Carlton GSi as you call it :)

Or maybe Omega B... I don't know... I'm confused :(

Iirc a conversation with Nick, they were not a simple fit and involved a big bodyshop bill to modify the bumper to look correct
