Then add on the cost of admin shizzle etc!! My mate was gonna sell them an astra I believe, initially got offered 100 something quid, then by the time you go through the cost of the paperwork etc it dropped to like 45 quid or something stupid... Better of ebaying it or scrapping it.

Yeah, but they guarantee a sale. If you need to shift a car asap, or have a bog standard dull mobile of which there are 1000 out there exactly the same, then it actually does work out pretty well as generally their prices are better than part ex.

full time blaggers imo

i know someone at work that was getting a divorce and wanted a 53 plate focus shifting quickly, contacted these chaps and when the =y came to collect the car they tried blagging it for half of what they originally offered, which everybody knows is way less than book price

AdamK

Thats why they offer prices like they do because they know if your going to them your desbret so they can offer you silly money and if you take it then theyve done well out of it but if you choose not to then there not botherd eitha because they know they will get other customers

There is actually a clause somewhere that says the price they offer is based on a perfect condition car, hate to see what you end up owing them taking them an average nova! lol

guy across the road from me used it to sell his honda accord. car looked fine from the outside but the petrol tank would only hold a tenner max as it was so rotten. obviously, he neglected to mention this minor detail and he got an ok price for it. he said it would have cost more to fix it than the car was worth, so it was basically scrap. he seemed really happy that he'd managed to **** them over anyway lol

Anyone actually found out what car they give £100k for? I don't think its a Veyron as I'm sure someone on CCUK tried that and it only offered them something like £90k for it lol

well i used to think it was a good idea, but i was naive and innocent and was not aware of their tactics ... but i assure you i know better now lol

I think you're thinking about it the wrong way round, there's cars that would cost far more than a veyron and not because the original manufacturers price is higher... try a classic ferrari dino or something, believe it's one of those that has the highest auction sale price ever.
