got both sides off in one piece on mine

heat gun and some spirit wipe or brake and clutch cleaner to get the left over glue off.

Fudge/Toffee wheel. Ebay have them.

would take ages with a fudge wheel, i used a heat gun to remove mine. be sure you want to remove them though as they are hard to get now
