A fella in work is adement he had a ford orion kit fitted to his saloon.

Has this ever been seen?

I havent seen any pics?


Anyone ever heard of it?

IIRC there was a green soft top with a kit. Might have been Ford. Was a while ago mind!

I quiet like Orion's probably prefer them to Escorts tbh, but I wouldn't want my saloon to look like one

That would have been The_General_Chancer's old hutchinsons then, pretty sure it was actually mk1 astra stuff but not 100%

If you look past the peeling paint and the fact that the front bumper isnt fitted properly i dont think it looked that bad, bearing in mind that nova had been local to me for about 10+ years at the time of that pic, so was built back in the day (90's) i think it worked rather well!


Guy who built it (Gav Winters) who is a known name in the autograss/rallycross type world built it and also had a matching pickup in peppermint green too, that got sold on when he ceased trading as 'Corsa & Nova Specialists' and that one has been on and off ebay a few times with various owners claiming to have built it lol
