Thats probably only down to your torque wrench being properly calibrated to make sure everything gets tightened up to its required torque lol

Yep, that was soooo funny when i picked up this shiny snap-on torque wrench and asked why you had one of those when you were supposed to be an A1 bodger, and your reply was 'turn it over and look at the other side' did so and there was a bead of weld all the way round the head turning it into a massive strongarm lol

torque setting dont work when running stupid psi and 'shaved' 8v heads

i used 4 head gaskets in a week on the 1.4 using a proper torque setting, done it to FT, (10ft bar lol) lasted over a year FTMFW lol
