Hi guys ive got a question that im hoping somneone can answer :)
Ive just bought a 2ltr Nova and ive been looking at insurance quotes but have realised its still down as a 1.2 . At the ages of 20 i was wondering if anyone could suggest cheap insurance companies as insurance is going to be high plus i have 3 points :p
Many thanks Pete

depending on location, see ollie at sky
Well your first port of call needs to be your DVLA local office with the xe engine number filled out on your V5, to change the logbook to a 2.0:thumb:
Then as above try sky, aslong as youve been driving two years and on your postcode area they should be able to help you out quite nicely (members get a discount too btw)

Really, fair play!! I just assumed it would be silly money. When i was 18 i had 1 accident and 3 points to my name. I paid (stupidly i might add!) £1600 tpft to insure a 205 1.9GTi lol

Hic and or Flux
HIC are Flux so pick which ever you would like to be insured with, they will not undercut each other.
No, but they offer different prices...
No, but they offer different prices...
However as soon as it comes to the stage of bargaining down a price you need another insurance company to undercut them first, so you may as well pick one. They don't even give you a quote if you actually answer when they ask who you've had quotes off of already and you name flux to HIC or vice versa

If you get a quote from one, and then the other undercuts it, they will usually withdraw the more competitive rate, I've seen it time and time again.
^ true, I've had Flux pretty much hang up on me when I told them I'd already got a price from HIC lol
Whats the 3pts for? If its a simple speeding offence then that probably won't make much difference.
