coilover build up....

fitted coilovers on the weekend and they started making a creaking noise when you turn left n right?

any pics of the correct build up of the top mount, bearing ect?

Have a look in my WIP thread. I think there is a pic of the fronts..

Could just be the rubbers?

Mine used to do this, I fitted new rubbers. Im going to upgrade to adjustable top mounts etc when I have the money, but the new rubber stoped the squeeking!

but there is a bearing between the bottom black spring cup n the silver middle bit pete?

brand new top mounts n bearings fitted aswell nova16vxe :)

Yes. Maybe WD40 the rubbers?? Or it might not be coilover related!!

also ive seen people run the large cups from the OE setup on the top mount n spring?

Make sure the top mounts are on the right way - there is a little hole that has to be toward the inside - I replaced mine, did one race, creaked a lot, and realised the problem, got away with it but much more and they would of been chewed.
Also had a creaking previous to that - turned out to be a poly bush slightly misaligned on the front control arm (going into the front valance).
