Am i better off taking the plugs off and just connecting it to the correct wires? as i dont have the other sides of the plugs available?

Yeah if you don't have the other half of the plug, chop it off and extend them in to the cabin.

That is VSS. Although, Strangely its a Corsa plug?

Edit: That grey plug in the background (Same plug in first pic?) Is corsa, That has a corsa starter/alt etc loom, You dont need any of that on a Nova.

Edit: I may also have the correct bit for that diag plug if I didn't chuck it out.

Red and blue is fuel pump and black is switched live?

Red/blue is also VSS. And its the correct plug, And its in the right place.

Connor

yea as said i already found the plug with the fuelpump wire in.
Hence the reason i was confused. And this engine is out of a corsa thats why it has corsa plugs........all starting to make sence now lol

Connor do all those Corsa plugs not remove from the rest of the loom? Seeing as those 1.6 8vs were never originally in a Corsa you shouldn't be fitting any Corsa wiring...

Ermm they may, i will investigate tommorow when i start on it again, then report back, they may of just been added because it was fitted to a corsa? I'm gonna leave them to the side and once its running (if it runs) then i shall remove them afterwards. I have a feeling they have been spliced into the e16se loom somewhere but only time cane tell lol, Over and out.

Shouldnt be in the e16 loom anywhere, That lot is just Corsa stuff, Oil pressure and stuff, ideally you want to remove it, I wasnt sure if you had already ****ed around with it and keept the corsa wiring. Your Standard Nova wiring replaces all of that.
