1.2 to 1.6 throttle cable

i have started my conversion but didnt realize i needed a longer cable to fit the new engine. does anyone know what vehicle i can take one from? my parts man cant get it from nova gte or gsi... would a cav cable work?

you could modify the cable mount bracket.

i have been told i can get one for tomorow but really wanted it for today :(. wouldnt be able to get to swindon.. ill have a look at modifying if needed.
