Thanks for the comments.The blue is Monaco Blue, first registered in August 1987 and the colour was dropped when the facelift MK1 was introduced shortly after. Are there any other Monaco Blue SR's or even any Monaco blue merit's out there???

Mines an orient blue from 1987, not an SR though. Tbh I think they're very very rare as I've not seen anyone post one in that colour recently.

Woman beside me has one, although it's been resprayed.
They had an 87 Monaco Blue one back in 87, was ABZ reg.

I have plenty of pics of my uncle's MK2 Escort's (seanmcc). My father is more into his fwd RS's. Will scan a few tomorrow.

the red sr is identical to the car i had last year. might rebuild it as a rep.
the sunbeam looks nice, i really like them. wouldnt mind getting one some day.

You got any pics of your red mk1 SR. I haven't seen any red Mk1 SR snowploughs in ages.

not sure if they'll work. they're the only two i have on photobucket. i'll try and get some more although the only pics i have of it wioth the plough on it from when i first got it and it was completely standard.

ive still got the plough! i'd taken it off and meant to refit it but it got written off before i got round to putting it back on.
i'll maybe start a thread sometime with all the pics ive got of it once i upload them to my pc
