ive just been to vauxhall to get some gaskets for the top end on my gte, they didnt have the sets in stock, so the guy behind the desk said il give you them seperatly
ive got a head gasket cam cover gasket & manifold gasket + head bolts
is this right? dont i need another gasket that goes inbetween the cylinder head & cam housing?

no there isnt a gasket for in the there. you need to just put down some gasket joining material to join the 2 faces together.

you can buy enough to have three or four goes at it from vauxhall

huge tube

ask for sealing compound for between the cam shaft housing and the head.

the same stuff from halfords is the same price and u get JUST enough for one go!

that head finally goin on mark :D

treat it well its a minter ;)

make sure u set to correct torque and in riht sequence :)

yep it will be as soon as i get the manifold :lol: im not fitting it, im leaving that job to ace vaux in hanley :roll:

yeah, i gave em a ring n they said bout ?60 if i supply all the parts. they dodgy? got full stainless system to go on at same time :lol: if you got the time yeah m8, would brass you up for the work
anything else il need? apart from coolant n sealer, manifold bolts?

il get some new plugs n some oil n filter anyways, cant do anythin really until the manifold gets here which should be monday, we'l have to sort somethin out then

thats what i use!

once the insides of the exhausts arent "new" and there coked up a little, they sound sweet and give good performance gains.

oh and mark mate

was in supernovas just the other day and watched them pack up some bonnet liters for you ;)
