is there anything im ment to connect?

can just about see all the petrol comeing out in this pic, is comeing out just below the trumpets/air inlet,
can see in the second pic, there is like a half round part split in 2 right below the trumpet part, is there supposed to be a cover on this?

Looks like fuels pissing out of the jets. Maybe the float bowls have overfilled.

Have a read through this http://www.totalvauxhall.co.uk/2010/10/15/total-vauxhall-tech-how-to-fit-bike-carbs/
Also pm Tom Reid off here as he's in the know regarding bike carbs :)

On your last pic, is that the fuel supply pipe in between the carbs?

If so its the wrong place, the supply is under the carbs just a single brass barbed pipe,

EDIT red circle is the supply pipe, thats the only one you need connected

Looks like youve connected the fuel supply to a pipe where the carbs are vented to atmosphere.
