They made ally cats for all sorts including opels so if you've got them on your nova they won't be mini wheels

Id say keep them and buy a wilwood or similar brake kit that will fit under your wheels

think there called mid-lites or similar.
Not too sure, someone will no off here
I know the mini boys use them as standard mini brakes are....well... crap
and when they xe them or vtec them or similar they get them to fit under there 13' minilits or simlar.
Worth having a look for a second hand set

No not a googe master - I have an Opel kadett c and was going to go for a set of ally cats like yours as I already have 4 pots that will fit under 13s....as for your car it depends on what you want and your taste and what cash you have to spend. If you want the same sort of spoke pattern as the cats but a larger wheel to accommodate the brakes then BMW e30 wheels are 15x7 and et 38ish so would be fine with your wide arches or Astra champion/cav expression wheels would look good to. That's on a budget though if you have cash to spend then get on the vw sites edition38 for example and have a look at the after Market bbs stuff and the likes or even try wheel whores.

I would go mo's but I would have to put big spacers on to fill the arches!

Nah, you can get 15" Mo's in up to 8" width, and pretty much any offset you want
