the nova gone to get its new coat

so this morning the nova has gone to a new body shop to get painted and i can not wait to get it back i have taken photos on the trailer so will upload them later.happy days this time i hope :d

it will be staying as original as possible only thing i have asked for is the tailgate to be painted and if i dont like it i can allways put it back original.and im going to change the wheels in the next month found a few i like thinking of momo course rims so i can be a bit different 15inch and coilovers so i can get the right stance.and a stainless exhaust (if anyone has one they no longer need pm me with a price) i will keep the original wheels though just in case i change my mind.

ive had issues with roof condensation while ive been painting,
and wtf has he been doing with your nova?using it to set his gun up?

i did not give him a chance to sort it as it was a right mess.i wanted it right and the more i looked over it the more i found wrong so i cut my loss and start again this time its gone to the right place costing a lot more but as they say you get what you pay for

the car was painted on the same day when he went home someone that works there thought the car was finished so pushed it outside and the paint was goosed from then on i waited a week for him to start sorting it but it was a case of him blaming staff ect and wanting me to pay towards more paint.at this point i had viewed the car a seen it all back together and paid him thinking the car was on its way back the next day

found loads of bits this week too :d new genuine mudflaps £25 also ordered the gutter trims £15.90 each plus vat and the gsi badges are being made by a mate for a £5 and the griffin badge on the boot.all i need now is the bonnet badge roll on monday when we can go for a spin as long as it passes mot fingers crossed

d day today for mot and it flew through no problems went for my first spin tonight at last and was dissapointed it runs real poo.so the next few days will be getting everything set up spot on then should be happy days :d

today i have taken my kids to school in the nova and they love it lol , as i was sat in traffic i got a few people nearly stopping to have a good look. my mrs was laughing at a guy outside are drive taking a good look too.so yesterday i got the car running spot on new water pump and cambelt fitted all timed up and goes very well.so today it looks like i have the day to play with getting all the finishing touches done.most of my bits have arrived got to collect a few parcels from royal mail.
