Apparently its very difficult to win stuff on there, and if you don't win they keep your money? Its more of a lottery style site than an auction site.

Scam.... possibly, depending on how closely you look at the way its run. Lucrative, definitely.

Think about it, if you buy your penny bids at the best rate, 1500 bids @ £374.99, thats £15 worth of bids. I know it doesn't work like that, but when you see it from that angle, it does make you wonder..

Oh yeah and apparently auctions don't end when the counter reaches 0, there's a "catching up" period where they take into account late and mobile bids etc. Or, if you're cynical, time given to allow their staff to put in extra bids on cheap items :p

Lets face it, If your stupid enough to think you can have a brand new car for that sort of money somthings wrong....
