have had a brill first year racing in the 1450 prod rods, it has been a shame that i havnt been to any meets this year but this does use up most weekends lol

that crash photo the nova wasnt damaged that bad after smashing it in to armco at around 30mph lol just had to reweld front, new engine mount, rad, fan, manifold, grill, slam panel, bumper lol

It be good to see you out there again next season m8 its going to be a great season I think a lot of red top next year so you soon m8

What engines do you run?

we run up to 1.4 carb engines, your not allowed to use mpi injection or the head (which a few people use when cheating) and everything has to remain standard engine wise. its a brilliant hobby with minimal cost's compared to other formula's such as hotrods etc.

also can anyone guess where my orange shell came from? a clue is that it was a 2 litre and has been to the ring as a road car with a member off here before i got it.

Good result there, not massively into my oval circuit racing but it is at the end of the day cheap motorsport and clearly a lot of fun.

spot on, for less than 500 pound you can have a car that is set up well and where you realy can race very close to eachother, ok its not the most demanding going around an oval but it still takes a good driver to come from the back of the field and win the races. also made some good friends from racing aswell.

Thats what it is all about mate, and as you say keeps it nice and even so actually shows who the better drivers are more than who has more money.

where are you racing at? i used to race tarmac oval when i was younger in aldershot arena. im now racing autograss in wales.

what organisation do you race under? segto?

the class we race in is an internal promotion at standlake arena with there own rules, but we do run other segto classes like prod a and junior classes also compete in the segto championship.

I race at standlake near witney oxon as I only live 20mins away so all good for me lol. Sometimes we have segto meeting up there but prod rods is more a every meet race for the keen racers lol

ow standlake arena, one of my mates goes there occasionally to race bangers.

wish i could go back to tarmac oval as the weather plays a big factor to wether we can race or not on grass.

I have raced at Standlake too when i done unlimited bangers in the Heavy Metal Meet. twice, both times in mk2 Granny's.
I also raced in segto to, in super saloons. home track was Horndean..
