Possibly after an off the shelf cage to adapt to my needs, anyone got a good quality bolt in or similar? Will be welded in so condition of spreaders etc not important, but must be a through the dash fitment, you may keep your pansy dash dodgers!

I tend to use Roll Centre, they do a national spec cage thats still bolt in but goes through the dash.

Checked out roll centre but for what I want to do with it it works out cheaper to get the same spec cage from custom cages.

Do they not do a weld in ? full multi point cages from Roll Centre are about £350, un profiled.

£370+VAT+delivery, I'd go for the front cage and rear without diagonal though, in order to make my own crosses on the rear and door bars, and triangulate the front, which works out to be about £550, doing the same from custom cages was £500ish, and you get the main cage bits profiled for that too.

I'd like to either do it cheaply with a 2nd hand cage or exactly as I want with new, rather than pay more for something I'm going to look at flaws in that will bug me. If I happen to find a well designed 2nd hand cage then billy bonus lol

The weld in cages are £350 complete with front triangulation the lot, same as the Custom Cages one but unprofiled.

I use Roll Centre simply as their 5 mins up the road.

Obviously its just tubes apart from the main hoop so you can do whatever you like with it in regards to fitment.

Hmm, maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing then, as the one I looked at was £370 with no triangulation, single bent door bars, and a single rear diagonal that doesn't appear to tag into the best places.

There seems to be 2 'grades' of cage available from them, the first is £370+vat+delivery the 2nd is £484+vat+delivery and the only difference is the main hoop is larger diameter bar?

Your looking at bolt in cages which are a little pricey.

Look under design and manufacturer although it doesn't list a specific price for a nova cage we've had one for a 306 and a Golf that triangulates to everything.

I can get them with a little discount and could post it for similar I'd of thought.

Aha, now that's a bit more like it  Definitely interested if you could look into that for me. Pretty much as it's laid out in that pic, minus the dash bar with the rear cage/cross a tad long than usual to allow a bit of fiddling around would be spot on. Some bits in smaller diameter tubing would be a decent idea to shave a couple kilos too... If I draw up a simple paint type design like they've got on the site it'd be much appreciated if you can see what they can do :thumb:

Assuming Tom hasn't got something spot on for cheaper for me :)
