What's so special about fearless stuff?

Nothing, its all crap IMO
Nothing, its all crap IMO
I agree
Mostly for show rather that function, I do like the look of the front strut braces tho
Fearless parts do hold some form of nostalgia for some tho lol
Nick's wasn't full Fearless - as I don't think the front brace ever went on and stayed on! lol
Dec had a full Fearless set up I think.
I like the oversized look lol

I like the oversized look lol
Me too, the chunky polished cages look awesome.
Front strutbraces are good, wouldn't have the cage or rear brace anywhere near my car, proper rollcage or nothing IMO.
Each to there own I think, If your building a show car and only require a show cage purely for looks then you can beat the over sized polished tubing of the Fearless cages, on the other hand if the car to compete at any level a cds cage would be preferred, the only thing that has ever st-oped me buying a Fearless item is that I'm not a fan of stripped out cars unless its a competition car and for a purpose, If they had a removable diagonal I would of had one

I have all three
At next rebuild whenever that happens it will be changed to 'proper' weld in cage.
Rear:

Belts are no longer wrapped around rear brace before anyone coments!
Front:

Not everyones taste i know :)
Martin
The thing is that it looks stunning but obviously doesn't offer much in the way of safety !
As costly as it can be you could get a weld in cage and with a LOT of patience and masking tape get the cage painted a similar colour which would give it a similar effect, rather than black on black.
Your car is SO bloody nice though, not seen it in the flesh before but no doubt it looks just as clean as it does in the pictures.

Least it's 4 decent size bolts and not 2 monkey metal cheese strut tops lol

Was going to get it all powder coated as not really into shiney, shiney stuff anymore.
Only thing stopping me is resale value as will i probably sell in the future.
I agree it doesnt offer anything in the way of safety, but it was never inteded to, was purely to look 'pretty'!

I presume you will go for a bolt in cage then ?
I wouldn't even worry about resale value tbh, its a nova and people won't pay what you value it at, which I would expect to be a few quid !
Do you track it at all ?
i think he means the fearless items resale value
Durr yes ofcourse !
I need to get my eyes checked, turning into a right spaz recently lol
As far as resale goes;
nova shell, not a lot
shell with a cage in, not a lot more
Fearless cage £££
weld in, goes to the crusher with the shell you can't sell!

No i would probably go for weld in cage, strip the car & colour change as in my eyes its looking tired now.
Have tracked it in the past at Donnington Park. To be honest needs a proper suspension setup as didnt have confidence in it as i would have liked.
Spun it at 120mph braking down the back straight & after that little 'moment' my track driving was sh1t, as always in my head was no insurance & losing the lot!! :)

Yeh I can see how rough it looks mate lol
Always different when you own a car though, you know all the small flaws.
Looks a bit too nice to track but then thats only the paintwork that does that, seems nicely specced and a bias lever and some decent coilovers aren't massive expense.
Insurance can be a issue I guess, its available though but not cheap !
