Not bad.

I've heard that the calibra is being brought back, how cool would it be of the nova got a revamp?

Nice VXR mate.

I see your point. But I'm talking about a proper new Nova, modern as feck etc something that would maybe revive the GTE side of things or something...

very nice mate but one thing i will say is keep an eye on the oil feed to the turbo as my mate had 2 of these and they keep getting blocked and not letting the turbo have oil and i dont think you want to spend cash on new turbos ect

just think when the novas done, take both to a car show open the bonnet on the nova and open the bonnet on the corsa and see which one gets the most people looking at it.

Weathers not been too bad round here until the last couple of days it was like minus 5 or colder and just damp so had some good boosting time

Lifetime warantee as I got it brand new and my mates work at my dealership so feck em lol :)

Thats the plan, not sure if I'll be allowed the corsa on the png stand an like tv though so may have to both go on the vxr stand...

what do you think of the speed of these corsa vxr's? i wasnt to impressed with it when i was in my mates one, but interior is quite smart in god they dont half pop in bang with an aftermarket ss exhaust:)

gunny

I wasn't impressed with my mates a year or so ago BUT everyone told me to thrash it when I get it so I did and if I'm honest I think it's pretty fast for what it is, it's definitely quicker now than when I picked it up, quicker than his was, and I was impressed with 140mph (on a private road of course) and still going... I'll be playing with it once the nova is done

nice bits of kit really are, though i wasnt overly impressed with one on the dual carriageway as my 163hp 2.2 ton audi tdi stayed with it all the way down the carriageway, though the vxr sounded awesome just expected it to make me look silly being 190bhp out the box and weighing half,
what tuneability do these have gunny?
you picked the best colour anyway imo

gunny
25-12-10, 03:29 PM
I'm genuinely impressed with how it pulls, considering it's a 1.6 pulling today's safety features/regulations they're nippy little cars.

As for tuneability there's a hand full of them that have soled 300+ bhp and plenty of torque as per vxr expectations. That's running the original inlet and an astra vxr turbo iirc, nothing spectacular...
