paypal wtf ??

Right put money in my bank today checked my balance at 8pm and it said the correct amount so thought sound i can paypal a person i need to pay now its coming up as "this transaction cannot be completed" now this happened last week but worked after 2nd try this time its no working atol.

What can i do ? should i just wait and try again later ?

the money will show but it wont be cleared

paying cash into the bank should be available immediately though...

when i was with hsbc if i put it in after noon, it would show in the bank but not cleared,

before noon, was cleared around 4pm

If you transfer funds to your paypal it takes a little time to clear as said but if your paypal is linked to your bank account directly then payments are made instant but it has to be a verified account first, also if it's a verified account you don't pay fees on sending as a gift.
