had a bit of a problem today went to start my motorbike today for 1st time in few months and i turned it over and wouldnt start checked the water and was hardly any anti freeze in it and all pipes ect was frozen solid, took it all apart and flushed warm water throught it put it back together with 50/50 aniti freeze to water ratio and still couldnt get it to start please tell me its not ****ed. :(

edit, sorry couldn't help that, did the engine run when frozen, check the water pump is not damaged, is it leaking from anywhere?

had the same problem with my dads car today, luckily pulling all the pipes off and running warm water through the rad and engine seemed to cure it, fired up straight away and runs fine

thats how i killed me saxo vtr a few years back! no anti-freeze is a grim way to go out

im just gonna leave it till it warms up abit its a 2stroke so there enough trouble as it is but id does seem to make a knocking noise when you turn it over but as i have the size fairing of may just not notice it.

engine should be spot on just had it rebuilt ect

i tried starting shredded teeth off the cam beltl with the water pump an yeah was french at the end of the say haha

it was my daily runner then took it off road before weather got bad bin sittin in my garage for over a month was was fine when i put it in there .

and i havenot noticed any leaks as cant get it to fire will turn over but not start into life:cry:

checked for a spark? give it a squirt of carb cleaner before trying to start it that usualy helps

no i didnt check for spark i checked the plug but got ****ed of with it and pushed it in garage will have another go before xmas

and i aint got any carb cleaner

either carb or brake cleaner and just fire a wee squirt in the carb and should get it fired up if its going to
