what brembos are people running etc

what car do you get the brembos off etc?

whats involved in fitting them

a mate off mine use to have them on his nova and ive seen couple of novas at shows with etc

I cant think of a Nova in particular with them fitted to be honest. Most people use Wilwoods.

Also, ive read that Brembo is a well overated brand.

The Fiat coupe came with Brembos I think, they should be a good size to fit a Nova.

Hi!

Mine were a kit I bought 2nd hand although "as new-ish"! for Vauxhalls, don't think they're still available though! Not seen them on anyother car iirc.

The calipars will need brackets making up. As the calipar has a simple bolt paten, you get a bracket made up to fit that to the car.

Then you needs discs to fix/match.

I duno what the PCD is for Fiat wheels but I think I remember reading that a Meriva disk is the same diameter and thickness (or close enough) so can be used with the Fiat Brembo.

Subaru Imprezas use 4 pot Brembos so there are loads of them about. Again I dont know about Subaru PCD's so you'll probably have to look at disks from a Vauxhall.


This is all from memory so may not be accurate.

Female mate of mine is using Type RA Brembo calipers on a Ka Turbo but she claims they were an easy fit :S

Meriva disc;s mentioned are the 280mm dia ones IIRC? Why not just use the complete Meriva brake setup anyway?? There cheap on eBay ATM.

PCD of fiat is 4x98, and I think the Brembo calipers on those use larger (305mm??) discs than the Meriva-ish sized ones

im fitting brembo's to my next project, got them sitting at work no idea what there off but ill just make some kind of bracket to fit them to nova hub
