if you remove it you will need a heated screan for demisting just 1 thing to consider

did they do heated screens as standard in novas?
if so take it that would have been late mk2's or gte/gsi models only

Nope not as standard. You can buy aftermarket heated screens though. Costs about £180 or so IIRC

I've fitted one too. Have seen a couple screens some up for sale in the last couple months. I'm sure you'll find a used one soon otherwise here you go... http://www.heatedwindscreen.com/acatalog/vauxall-heated-windscreens.html

thanks everyone got alot sorted today and got a list of parts and ideas to sort out.
just leave the heater in place mate as it will work fine and the fume issues never bothered me.

In this weather you will need a heater
leave the heater in bud. i removed mine when i built it. Then went to PNG Rolling Road day in Northampton and froooozzze my nuts off as it was also snowing.2 hour journey:cry:
otherwise just keep a scarf, woolly hat and gloves in therelol
sort out some large bore flexi pipe, and fix it up for normal use so that it is removable for showing etc.......
