On a Nova, is it 14" or 15"?

I know there is a few factors involved like offset, width and tyre size but assume both wheels are similar.

What do you think?

It depends on your power really.

I'd say 15" if your running XE power.

Also depends on the rubber (width and profile), the suspension settings, ride height.

Power makes no difference, because that's a right foot issue. You're looking for the mechanical grip of the car.

16's on 45 rubber will offer better high speed handling in the dry where 14's on 55's (narrower) will be better in the wet.

So your compromise will be 195x50x15's on 7" rims

Consequently, my next track project will run on 18's with 9.5" slicks. But it will be circa 500Kg, and have some downforce.

thanks for making me even more confused lol

I'm looking for max dry grip and don't want 16s

If I go for 15s I've got the idea of using 195/45/15 on the front and 185/55/15 on the rear, 6 or 7j rim, not sure yet

but if I go 14s it'll be 185/55/14 on a 7j rim

Why the change front/rear, Wont that make the rear end tail happy? (exaggerated)

15's because they have the MOST sticky tyre options available and are epic good value.

17's are the next good value size

i'd go 15's for the 2 reasons stuarts already stated, so many tyres available and good value.
