My advice would be to not fit them lol

But if you really have to....there was a WIP thread of someones with 18's. Looked like a tractor, but they seemed to fit ok.

Any Nova I've seen with huge wheels has always looks odd as the car is high off the floor and the bumpers looking short. Ride comfort will be rubbisher too.

What wheels you planning to fit? A fair bit of work will be needed plus decent wheels with decent width and offset to aid the fitting.

Each to their won and all that. I'd still be interested in how it looks :)

I can only see 18's just about working on a 2 door loon and even then they'd have to be fitted real well and suit the car real nicely.

It had MASSIVE arch mods, in every sense.

If you're looking to fit 18's you have a lot of work to do.

You need to do a lot of work on ride heights, which means suspension mounting mods, etc.. otherwise it'll look like a Range Rover.

Realistically, the biggest boots you can get away with on a Nova are 16's with 40's. But they're not really practical for British pot holes.

My next track project will run 9.5 x 18" slicks, and I have a lot of work involved to ensure that the roll centres are correct, or it can affect the handling badly. It also means ditching the rear beam as it's currently set up.

^ that looks good from the front but when you get to the back it leaves the rear bumper looking short.

^^ couldnt think of a word to sum it up but above hit the nail on the head

I had a seat inca van a few years back for work..I done a job for a lad and seen a clean set of 18's in his kitchen so touch them as part pay in the mind on selling them on as they where near new.
When home and for the crack put them on the van and they looked good on it so left them
After a week got a buckle in one so sent it off to be fixed.before I picked it up got a buckle in another one.
Big wheels with low profile boots are for show cars that get trailered around all there life not daily drivers
Dont waist your money mate

IIRC Pepe had 17s, but either way it had a space framed rear end and modded front arches.

My advise would be dont lol IMO most 18" wheels look **** and defently wouldnt suit a nova better off selling them and getting something smaller

id say the same nova's are better off with a nice set off 16's imo!! so my advice would be dont bother its a waste off time wont help the handling and will look like a monster truck lol
