Could someone shed a bit of light on this please...

Beginning of last week my internet wouldn't load for 7 days so eventually i rang my provider which had me going in and out of CMD more times than a fatty at McDonalds!

After around 1 hour on the phone they decided that my IE must be corrupt!

I left it another 3 days and have now just given it a try again and now it's working :S

If my IE is corrupt can i only reinstall a new IE by reinstalling windows or is there another way around it?

Delete system 32, you don't need it anyway.

Or you could uninstall I.E and download firefox.

C:\Windows\System32

Usually I would let you go on with it, but I think you may be a tad pissed off when you find out that deleting system32 means your pc is borked lol system32 is where all the important stuff is on your pc. As for the firefox updates they are regular and annoying yes, but they are needed to keep you safe when using firefox.

Which would you rather use, the software thats regularly updated and secure... or the one which never has any updates? Hint, its not the latter. lol

You can update/remove/reinstall IE without blatting windows.

Well for years i've used IE, my comp has been working itself lately, keeps logging me in and out of msn, so after reading this thread i decided to install FF, Pffttttttt..........now i have no clue how to navigate around this, lost all my bookmarks( after being asked if i want to import them and saying yes).
Oh lord where do i start...LOL....:tard:
