Stupid question but out of curiousity can you put the 94mm crank that QED sells into a standard block or would you have to use there ali block for said conversion to work.

Stock block, bt u also need there rods + slipper pistons to work, mate had one bt he stuk rod through block twice now, not sure what hapend 1st time bt 2nd was fresh engne sat bouncing off limiter at 8.5k for an age, spoke to a couple ppl and they reckn its fact he kept it limiting. They wil only be good for about 250bhp, bt get tons mre grunt than a 20xe. JRE may get near 300bhp bt its on a mega port bored 28,28.5mm port bore bt as martin bowyer said, theres not low down, even being a 2.3.

I have heard of people doing something with the z22xe, and using part from this?

To build a c22xe or c22letlol

big stroke is bad :( well its good for tons of low down torque, but makes for a 7K limited engine lol

The Z22SE is a prime example of that, 140bhp but the same torque as a 200bhp XE.

QED reckon their 2.3 is good for 9k revs!
