I come home to a fire in the house across the street. There was a woman in the top window cryin with her kids so my next door but 1 kicked the door through and the woman came running out LEAVING HER KIDS UPSTAIRS. So I ran in the house, I couldnt see a thing because of all the smoke. I went up stairs and saw three small kids crying. So I picked them all up an took them out of the house. An I didnt even get a thankyou. Typical woman.

im sure she will say thankyou, probs just trying to come to terms with what had happend... unless you foiled her plans to be rid of her children and claim lots of insurance money. But im sure she will say thankyou she is very lucky

Well done Gibbo, glad you manged to get the kids out... what a stupid bitch tho, if i was in the womens situation i would have got the kids out first, and then tryed to get myself out, Just pure selfish-ness (sp?)
as previously said, a hero simply does it & walks away, if you get a bravery award, then it is a bonus.. the woman was probably in shock, and panicked. you are safe in the knowledge that you saved the kids' lives. you must feel pretty good inside at the moment.
i saved a girl from being raped once. not that i'm glory hunting or anything, but it took me a few days to get over the emotions of it all.
