c20xe head gasket problem needing some help

i found some oil in my header tank so i took the head of to day in the snow and it looks ok to me is there any think i need to look for or dose the gasket just go plus it drinks water to :confused:

its a gm one but i cant see any think up with it :(

it sounds like the head is cracked (the infamous 'porous' problem) it will probably need the mod doing to it.

post a pic of the gasket,if the gaskets fine,its likely the heads gone porous.

is it some think u can do ur self or do u have to send it away to be done

top left corner doesnt look pretty but id have thought that it would of gone between cylinders?

im lost with it as when i done head gasket before u can see where it is but cant on this one :(

where would the oil get in to as i had that to in the water too?

like said mate if the heads gone porous you will get oil in the water

ok mate will see if i can sort out that post on how to do the conversion or ill get that spair head of my mate and put that on

May aswell just do the conversion as what if the same thing happens on another head???
