Right, story goes
I lost my iPhone
Rang Voda, cancelled it.
Insurance sent me a new one.
Couple of days later, found iPhone!
If I put my new voda sim in Old (lost) one, it says no service.
If I put my wifes 02 Sim in it, it says invalid sim.
Question,
how can I get it working on O2 for the wife?
Or is it just now a Fat iPod Touch?

Err, can you get it unlocked? I don't know of it's now been locked completely with you reporting it lost
They have probably blocked the phone using the imei number, won't work in this country now.
check out dev team, there might be a solution on there for you.
they do all the unlock/jailbreak software for free!
also. have you tired another voda sim in the "lost" phone.
and does your old voda sim work fine in your new iphone?
i would say jailbreak it then unlock it with ultrasn0w through cydia. then any sim should work!
pm me for more illegal ness.

Ring Vodafone, tell them you have found it, and get them to unbar it, then get it unlocked.

wont they want his replacement back?
wont they want his replacement back?
I'd of thought so or they'll ask for payment to keep both phones.
espically because on their system it would say
iphone lost
replacment sent via insurance

cant unblock vodafone iphones "yet"
Iirc once a phone has had its imei number barred/deleted it will not operate again, this was true of older phones so im pretty sure will be more than true on fresh technology, its now just an i-pod id say lol
which i'phone is it? (3g/3gs/ or 4)
And changing IMEI numbers is illegal, 5 years in the nick. Stoo, thank BMW156 for reminding me of that and having to lock this thread as a result lol
