Sony Xplod stereo problem

I have a sony xplod.

Brand new from Halfrauds as it was better than half price lol

Now I have it all set up nicely, with a GTO 600watt amp, and 2 10 inch (I think) JBL 1000 watt subs.

It has an aux port, cd player and tuner.

Whenever I play stuff through my radio, the sub and amp work, but when I change the source back to aux or cd the sub and amp don't work. It has happened with my old xplod, hence why I got a new one. Somehow it managed to sort itself out a little while ago and everything was fine, then I put the tuner on to try and catch the traffic report and lo and behold, the problem has cropped up again.

Any ideas before I rip the whole lot out??

have you not connected the Remote/amp turn-on (usually blue) wire to the power antenna on the sony loom (also blue)
You actually want to connect it to the white/blue (amp/remote on ) at the sony end..
..which should already have a bullet connector on..?
Now youll have the power @ amp whenever the sony unit is on.

I believe I have a dodgy connection somewhere as it was flipping in and out on me the other day. I shall re-check all the wiring when I get round to putting my nova back on the road. Cheers anyways :thumb:
