bought a brand new set of fk ak coilovers for a hundred notes off a freind they have helper springs in whats everyones view on these are they needed? do people run them without?

I'm running my Astra coilovers without helpers

Can go lower without them ;)

is the ride affected much? My cars 80mm atm but just on springs CoZ Im ArD haha no cause im a cheap skate! bought the coilovers because i want more stability at that height as its my daily bus

Well FKs are really really bad anyway so probably be worse than springs/damper setup lol

What colour is your springs?

Btw they don't effect the ride quality at all, their job is to keep the spring in place when the car is jacked up

they are yellow they are only fk streets, wont be changing the rears though just the shockers, ye i have heard they are a harsh ride haha

i took my helpers out. more clearance for he wheel to fit, if a kept the helpers i would need spacers

What colour is your springs?
I had blue fk's and thought they were okay for daily driving, a little hard but handled well.
