hi my m8 has got a c20xe corsa that he has just built but he is havin probs with it so i am just seeing if any1 can help its seems to be we its cold its fine but wen it gets warm it splutters underload can any1 help.thanks:thumb:

First off, text typing will see you take a holiday!

Engine wise, could be a dodgy sensor. IIRC Coolant Temp Sensor (CTS) could be at fault. Does he have the ECU light connected. Flash a code out maybe?

do a management check if it doesnt through up anything. then move on to phase two which is checking the mechanical bits. such as compression test, air leaks, plugs, leads, dizzy, timing. and so on

i had that when i did my engine on my nova the ecu was up the wall fine when cold and when got hot missed and cut out then would not start till it was cold hop this helps ur mate

my car did this turn out to be cts sensor.put a new one in an it runs perfect

sounds like new plug leads needed as they break up under pressure causing a splutter and missing fine when cold tho only when hot
