I'm sure it stopped when you no longer had to buy music. :)

That wasn't a 90's programme nor did it end in that era so I don't see what interest it is to you. lol

Top of the Pops, also known as TOTP, is a British (http://www.pngclub.com/wiki/United_Kingdom) music chart (http://www.pngclub.com/wiki/UK_Singles_Chart) television programme (http://www.pngclub.com/wiki/Television_program), made by the BBC (http://www.pngclub.com/wiki/BBC) and originally broadcast weekly from 1 January 1964 to 30 July 2006. It was traditionally shown every Thursday evening on BBC One (http://www.pngclub.com/wiki/BBC_One), before being moved to Fridays in 1996, and then moved to Sundays on BBC Two (http://www.pngclub.com/wiki/BBC_Two) in 2005

Aye and It was crap.

I have a horrible feeling that if you were ever to lay your hands on a time machine you would travel back to 1990 integrate into society and stay there. :| lol

However you would be in for shock, for you do not know how we lived. You have only picture and video references to base your new life on. lol

surfin bird is actually a crap song.. it always was.... it was just some one hit wonder band latching onto the surf sound that was rampant in the early sixties in the usa.. i don't think scott mills endorsing something as being funny is enough reason to knock an x-lax contestant off the number one spot.

yes i remember it from full metal jacket (own the soundtrack cd), and also on family guy, where it was funny once.........

there, i've said it. now lets leave it at that.. why don't they start a campaign for slade or wizard or even the master, shakin' stevens.... they all did naff xmas classics..
