If that was me i would of been there taking the bits off before running away lol Could of at least spent a few seconds taking the towing eye cover off :wtf:

Seriously though, that must be an awful thing to happen to your car. I wonder what the cause may of been, i remember once i was driving behind my mates nova and it started to start a mimi fire under the bonnet where a dodgy earth was connected.

i always had a small hand held fire extinguisher in the boot of my nova, they dont cost much to buy from halfrauds but could save your car from ending up like that one.

I had the FIA plumbed in system and i still had to do fire fighting with the handheld one :eek:

when i was 12, me and my mate put bits of paper in a heater in school to get it to catch fire, then s##t ourselves for being caught, we inzipped and peed til it was put out! Not sure I'd reccomend it in place of an extinguisher for rally drivers though!
