Call me cynical, but I believe HIV is manmade. Hopefully this will lead the way for more progress in erradicating viruses and disease.

Stem Cell work can fix a lot of things, but just wait til the religious brigade get ahold of that. Playing God, etc. Where do you draw the line? Its possible to work out if an unborn baby will have certain genetic "defects", so do you use man-made interventions, or do you let the child be born with a disadvantage? Then we're onto creating a master race... some guy with a small tache tried that about 70 years ago, and look what happened to him lol

Anyway, HIV alone won't kill you lol

Literally moved me to tears. Lost friends that would have loved to have seen the day there was one person cured.

Few random facts.

The spread of HIV is currently more prolific through heterosexual's than the gay's.

There are people born literally unable to contract HIV due to the genetic makeup of certain populations.

And the strangest fact of all.... A man with HIV can impregnate a negative woman, She will contract HIV but the baby will be born Negative....
