View Full Version : 1200 carb and 1300 carb
right well whats the differents ? mainly can i run a 1300 carb using a 1200 carb loom ?
Cheeeeers :thumb:
well as i don't think there is anything electrical connected to the 1300 carburettor, it should be fine, as everything else is electrically identical.
hmm need to find a 1300 then lol
the single carb in the 1.2 and 1.3 is the same but the double barreled carb fitted to 1987+ SRs has an electric connection, relating to pumping more fuel when the 2nd barrel is opened
after market fuel pump will be going on it as im going to run 40's
no need for aftermarket pumps.. the sport never had them......
so you're going to run 40's but want to fit a 1.3 carb?
more like a carb engine....i think
yeah carb engine was needing to no if i could run a 1.3 engine on a 1.2 loom
wont a 1.2 engine be fine bud, pretty hard to source a 1300 these days
just xe it lol
just xe it lol
:wtf: good one lol
here here im in the same posiston lmao
not really lol you have an engine
1.2 spi lol, but a half polished rocker gives me +20bhp lol
im not going for big engine as i acually need to pay insurance
il stick with my 1.2 till i can afford a bigger engine

insurance will probably rape you with twin 40s as much as they would with an engine conversion. The OHC carb engines all have very similar wiring so won't take much to alter if necessary
