Nova Car Colour>?

Got my nova gsi ready for paint now!

Just woundering what colour shall i do it?

The right colour or different??

It was origanlly a black one!
but to get it painted they wanted £1500 :(

Get quotes from other places aswell then id never pay that much to get a car resprayed in a normal colour

Sounds about right for a top notch job in metallic,

But it would need to be a sh!t hot job.

Because you can get away with a worse finish in white, and it looks as good, black picks up all the little tiny dents and orange peel etc that white doesn't. A lot of manufacturers used to charge more for a flat gloss black finish on a new car as it had to be processed after so it didn't look crap.

Star silver is my favourite gsi colour.

If you fancy something different then how about the green from a Lotus Carlton ;)

theres a whole world of colours out there, if your spending that much pick a colour YOU like, not just because its a nova colour

Diamond Black. Lovely colour.

£1500 is a good price for a full paint. I paid just over half that for my paint job (mates rates FTW) How is thier work??

the chap who is going to be doing mine has given me a base price of £1300, that with me doing 90% of the prep work, i have seen his previous jobs and am very happy with his skill and results so in my mind its a fair price.

the last thing you want is to pay less to save a few quid and end up with a poor job that your not happy with.
IMO i would'nt judge a painter by price, judge by previous jobs and results.

was tempted to go silk violet a while ago but glad to keep it silver now, no chance of a colour change.

silk violet is my fav colour too, i was also temted by that but burgandy will do for me.
