nova dimond 1.2 carb

im having problems with motor it keeps back firing and i only seem to get around 65/70mph flat out. i have changed spark plugs,dizy cap, leads, and rotor arm i have had it checked for air leaks i have cleaned the carb inside and out but still nothing.:mad:

Is the ignition timing set up properly? Fit an inline fuel filter between the pump and the carb so you can see if its being supplied well enough.
