Sprinter 312 (or others) temperature

Should be buying a sprinter 312 today. But does anyone know what temperature the gauge should be at? I read 80, but this one goes over that, but my old Golf TDI sat at 90

if its the older model sprinter i think the temp gauge in these is the same idea as in the vito. if it is then they only have a small temp range on the gauge. between 80 and 100/110 or something like that. in the vito temp sits at around 90 from memory.
tbh i wouldnt be bothered about temp unless its reading really high.

Yeh i bought it anyway, seems fine, just over 80.
