I want some pro race 1.2s in 14" but highest offset they do is 38 and its 7 inches wide, I was thinking of using them with 185/55 tyres.

Will this be stupidly wide and need lots of arch work?

Other option is 15" which comes in ET45 but thats a 7J wheel too so I'm guessing will be even worse?

I'd say you'd have a better chance with the 15's

Rear beam mods?

Any pics?

With the 15s I was thinking 185/55 on rear and 195/45 on the front

iv got 175/50/14 pirellis on mine

need to update my project thread for pics, basically on the beam cut off the 6mm plate that the stub axle bolts to and weld it on the other side of the beam, pulls the wheel in 6mm and the tyres now dont rub :d

too much stretch is not ideal for good handling though :(

Other problem is the tyres I want don't come in that size

I might just use steelies then for track days

I've got 1.2's in 15" and with rolled arches, one side still scrub's to the point its scrubbed most the writing off the side wall! If you pull them out a little further you should be ok
