nova cooling fan

are the cooling fans and cowl the same on most models? ive got a gte rad but no fan and fitting a c20xe (i.e would a 1.2 fan be ok or would i need the proper gte fan?)

I'd initially think they're not the same as the rad sizes are different, but I can't remember seeing different sized fans and housings.

If you need to buy one anyway, £30 will get you a slimline one off eBay that'll attach to the front of the radiator and free you up some room in the bay.

If you have a GTE rad you need the deeper housing, fans the same, as Iain said get a slimline on of the bay

Brackets normally come with the fan

You can get "slimline radiator mounting kits" off eBay for a fiver too, look like cable ties that go through the rad.
