Swapped the 16" Superlegarra's for 15's today in a darker colour.

After

Also brake shot, much tighter under these wheels which looks better.

Which do people prefer?
PS I know I need a new rear arch, its as bad a bloody Nova for rust
Cheers
16's ftw even if they are battered
I think i preferred it on the 16's.
Surprised you haven't put alessios on it :p lol
Looks a bit more 'ard with the dark 15s on

Wrong offset, I tried it, look really odd on an MR2 lol
15's. I prefer the colour and they're better proportioned to the car.
Lee, what's the story on repair panels for the mk1's these days? My mate just sold a big power Rev 2 and is already on about wanting another. I want to help him build a 1.5 but he says all the shells are fcuked?

16's looked better imo.
Can still get three piece rear arch repair panels on ebay. A guy in Yorkshire makes them I think. Motorfactors can't get rear arch repair panels for some reason.
Loads of bolt on panels on ebay in good nick and think a lot of the bolt on panels can still be got from Toyota.
I have just bought another good spec 1.5 that I think i'm going to end up breaking. Thats where the wheels came from!!

Lmfao asif you have actually tried thats a typical nova owner right there lol
Looks evil man and i know its a right lil monster, bet thats been interesting to drive just of late or has it been hiding from the snow?
I think it'll be more interesting when the new box and slipper go in
i like both really, the 16s look tidyer but the 15s make it look that bit more sportyer... if that makes sence

(At least) two very fine motors in your fleet that I would have in a heartbeat. :thumb:

Just proving to myself that they don't suit all boxy rustbuckets lol
I'm still trying to use it at weekends despite the shocking weather but didn't bother in the snow as couldn't get it off the drive plus it had icicles hanging on the inside of the glass roof
Hi, this is my mate paul's old car. That car is good fun. I had a tustle with a ferrari 360 on the way to work with that car.

They are good fun despite the gay comments from a lot of people.
Quick vid from York against a TT Supra taken by Rickardo, lights didn't work racing the Corsa LET luckily as I would have got battered.

Small world, think Paul was a bit gutted to sell it really, especially as he has a Fiat now
I got wet moving a certain MR2 the other week, I'm not moving that in this freezing cold!
With the rust repair, Those handmade repair bits are good, galvanized too iirc? Its the floor/engine bay/boot that are the areas to worry about though.
If you ever get a chance to go out in it u'd be fairly impressed!
Graeme has been out in it but he has also been out in my LET Nova so being a diehard Nova fan he is convinced the Nova is better/faster. :thumb:
I have been out in it and its impressive but its not 360 quick
We both no how good your Nova is but at least the 1.5 gets used properly

The two things i found about an mr2 turbo is
A)wont donut very well lol
B)be careful with the tail when giving it yee-ha!
I like them both 16s look more modern but 15s look more stealhy and 'ard as Ad said...
