Mk2 Dash Speakers? How Do I Remove?

As above, removed my dahs plastic grill things the other day and found the N/S/F one is ripped where the foam meets the dome, and the O/S/F one has lsot +50% of its foam ring lol, they make a horrible noise now :(

How the hell do i remove them though? im guessing the clocks, light switch housing etc needs to be removed to get to the drivers one, but the passenger one looks a hell of a squeeze :confused:

Got some 55w uprated items from the scrappy the other day for £2, so they can go in for now, 4" ones :thumb:

you take the glovebox out the pasenger side, then the speaker just twists out, don't know how you will get other speakers to fit in though, there aren't normal screw bits.
Similar idea on the drivers side.

i left mine in and ran speakers in the footwells dave in custom pods, means running without underdash shelves but that wasnt a problem for me
