vauxhall offset alloys rub ??

just got my self a nova 4 door saloon & upon trying to fit vauxhall alloys with correct off set the rears rub the inner arch on the shock side, Is this normal as i think i need 5mm spacers ?

As above, wheels? tyre size?

Is it rubbing whilst jacked up or wheels on the ground?
