I should of asked why as well I suppose.

Picked up our real one today. I prefer them for the smell and that they lok better. Sweeping up the needles and watering it doesn't bother me.

Real christmas trees are just pure win, if you get the nordman fir ones they tend not to drop their needles as much, and bung some water in the bucket with them and they last longer too, plus they make the room smell awesome too:thumb:

Had the same issue this week.

Went for fake.

Reason being, doesn't drop needles and most of all cost.
Real ones are around £30 here, only need the new fake tree to last two years to have saved money. Our last fake tree lasted 7 years.

Easy decision IMO.

Im from Liverpool, i cant spell, its a wonder i actually know what Christmas is, its where we go into peoples houses, steal stuff from under that big tree that grows in everyones living room around this time of year (im still yet to find out why) and re-write the gift tags to "Gary and Becky"

Real as they tend to look so much more better...although a Burgo covered in tinsel could be quite amusing. I'm tempted to buy some now and get him when he's asleep lol

Fakes look crap though IMO, we have just been and got a real one, £35 for a 6ft, not too bad..

Fake..

We have one in the kitchen (pre-lit and pre-loaded straight out of the box job) :thumb:

And one in the sitting room that actually takes a bit of effort to decorate..

When I lived by myself, I used to have a cardboard tree thing made out of old xmas cardslol

Carly picked up a pre decorated pre lit potted real tree from either Tescos of Sainsburys.... That'll do.

No need for a big tree as we are going to her mums on xmas eve, so no need to store loot under it lol

Well ours is a fake one....takes 4 hours to errect and decorate, but i think it looks lovely......Sturge prefers real ones and is adamant that we will have one next year, i do like them and the smell they have but......finding decent ones is hard, they are either too bushy at the bottom and bare on top, or just alien looking.

That sounds familiar, didn't realise it applied to Christmas tree too. lol
