clutch problem?

hi guys had my 1.6 sport for about 6 months engine and drivetrain are standard,

about a month ago the car was hard to engage gears especially 1st,3rd and 4th

i adjusted the clutch cable and was fine for a week then it started again so i readjusted

was ok but is now doing the same in all gears, the car is on 89,000 miles and has never had a clutch could this be the problem?

no the clutch isnt slipping at all one the cars in gear its fine, its just like the clutch isnt dis-engageing like reverse more often than not crunches when you try and select it baffled me

Sounds like clutch might be on its way out.

about 90000 miles.... yeah, I'd say that.

I remember a Triumph 2.5Pi I once had, if it did 20000 miles on a clutch, you were doing really really well (if it did more, it was a automatic!!)

Yep, sounds about right. I recently done my corsa clutch due to the same reason.
